Job summary

TransCore, LP is seeking a Sr DevOps Engineer to design and operate CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and observability for a cloud-native Smart Mobility platform in Austin, TX. You will own the path to production, infrastructure as code, and monitoring across multiple environments, working with a cross-functional team.

The role is hands-on and senior, reporting to the DevOps & Release Engineering Director.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years DevOps/platform/SRE experience with strong automation focus.
3–6 years as a Software Engineer.
Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Terraform or OpenTofu experience with modules, remote state, drift detection.
Cloud-native workloads on Azure; AWS/GCP with Azure exposure welcome.
Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python.

Responsibilities

Own CI/CD pipelines and release automation across environments.
Maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform/OpenTofu; manage environments from Dev to Production.
Build observability stack: logging, metrics, tracing, alerting; OpenTelemetry governance.
Implement security, PCI-DSS controls, secrets management, IAM, network controls, and compliance tooling.
Collaborate with developers; provide tooling and guidance; participate in code reviews for infra and pipelines.
