Job summary

TransCore in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a Sr Software QA Engineer with strong test automation experience to join our shared QA Automation team. You will focus on Web UI and API automation, backend validation, cloud services, and CI/CD execution to ensure end-to-end quality across the Smart Mobility platform.

Responsibilities include designing scalable automation frameworks, building reusable components, validating data via SQL, and coordinating with DevOps to integrate tests into release

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
8–12 years QA experience with automation background.
Hands-on in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
Experience with Web UI and API automation using modern tools.
Experience with backend validation, SQL, and integration testing.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test execution automation.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web UI, API, and integration testing.
Develop reusable components, utilities, and reporting for automation.
Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Create dashboards and quality metrics for release readiness.
