Job summary

Mark43 is hiring a DevOps/Platform Engineer in the US to build and scale infrastructure powering our public safety platform. You will improve reliability, automate deployments, and enhance observability while collaborating with Engineering, Security, and cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes cloud proficiency (AWS/Azure), CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and infrastructure automation. Expect on-call rotations and impactful projects to ensure high availability and security across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE or related infra role.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps and ArgoCD deployment automation.
• Scripting or programming to automate infrastructure and tooling.
• Knowledge of cloud reliability, security, and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and maintain the infrastructure powering our public safety platform.
• Improve reliability, automate deployments, and enhance observability across the stack.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams for scalable, secure infra.
• Leverage AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, Grafana to improve workflows.
• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and high availability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for builds, tests, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Build internal tools to boost developer productivity and automate manual processes.
• Partner with engineering to adopt DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and potential failures.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations to support production infrastructure.
• Own infrastructure projects contributing to long-term health of Mark43.
