Job summary

EIS Group seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud foundation, delivery pipelines, and production operations. You will connect AWS infrastructure, secure networking, platform services, CI/CD, and deployment of EIS Suite applications.

Role includes mentoring and shaping engineering standards while delivering reliable, scalable cloud solutions. The position offers end-to-end ownership across the stack, with emphasis on automation, observability, and secure, compliant deployments in a remote

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related role.
• Deep practical knowledge of AWS architecture and services including EKS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and load balancers.
• Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD.
• Solid GitLab usage: repos, access controls, and merge requests.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery from AWS infra design to CI/CD and production support.
• Design secure, highly available AWS environments with hybrid-cloud integrations.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and maintain coded infrastructure with change control.
• Design and operate Jenkins pipelines and GitLab integrations.
• Deploy and operate containerized services on EKS with Docker, Helm, and YAML configurations.
• Embed security and quality controls into automation and DevSecOps practices.
