Job summary

Securiport LLC, based in Reston, VA, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Release and DevOps team. You will automate software delivery, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure high availability and scalability across environments.

Responsibilities include designing CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, monitoring, and supporting development teams with best practices in version control, security, and containerization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is required.
7+ years of experience in DevOps/Release/Infrastructure roles is required.
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder; local candidates only.
Demonstrated experience designing and managing scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment.
Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot across development, QA, and UAT environments.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and system management processes.
Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and applications.
Support development teams with best practices in version control, build automation, and containerization.
Maintain and improve configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Monitor and troubleshoot environment-related issues to ensure successful release cycles.
Continuously improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
