Job summary

FPL Energy Services (FPLES) in Florida seeks an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to build, secure, and operate our enterprise application and integration ecosystem. You will work with Salesforce, SAP, MuleSoft, Databricks, and AWS, driving CI/CD, data migrations, and production reliability.

The role requires DevSecOps focus, API security, and collaboration across application, integration, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 7+ years in DevOps/cloud engineering/integration engineering/enterprise tech.
• Strong Salesforce and SAP knowledge with enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIs and integrations.
• AWS infra and cloud services experience including networking, IAM, monitoring.
• Databricks knowledge for data integration and pipelines.
• CI/CD, deployment automation, release management expertise.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, Bash or similar.
• REST APIs, API monitoring, logging and performance management.
• DevSecOps, API security incl. OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, certs and secrets.
• SQL proficiency and data flow troubleshooting.
• Agile/Scrum experience; onsite-offshore delivery.
• Technical leadership across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation and continuous improvement of software delivery.
• Maintain CI/CD services and build environment for developers.
• Automate deployment of builds to test and production environments.
• Monitor health of systems and inform staff across levels.
• Evaluate processes and automate repetitive tasks.
• Improve environments and developer practices.
• Set up backups and disaster recovery for prod/test.
• Perform other duties as needed.
