Job summary
Florida Power & Light Company seeks an Associate Technical Services Specialist to ensure cloud-hosted applications are reliable, secure, and production-ready. You will blend cloud engineering, quality engineering, and DevOps practices to automate testing, deployments, and observability while partnering with developers and technical teams to improve software delivery.
You will design automated tests for APIs, UIs, and integrations, implement reusable testing frameworks, and drive CI/CD quality
Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-time technical support to operations and business units.
- Perform system testing and documentation during significant changes or upgrades.
- Analyze root causes and implement technical solutions for complex issues.
- Lead security-focused application and tooling enhancements and incident prevention.
- Develop and improve processes to increase productivity and reduce risk.
- Travel to power plants for onsite troubleshooting when needed.
