Job summary

NextEra Energy, Inc is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, secure, and operate our enterprise application and integration ecosystem. You will work across Salesforce, SAP, MuleSoft, Databricks, and AWS, driving CI/CD, data migration, and production reliability.

The role requires DevSecOps expertise, API security, automation, observability, and collaboration across onsite and offshore teams within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in DevOps, cloud or enterprise technology roles.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce and SAP integrations and data flows.
• Hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• AWS infra knowledge including networking, IAM, security, monitoring and deployments.
• Databricks data integration and data pipelines experience.
• CI/CD, source control, deployment automation, and release management.
• Scripting/automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• REST APIs, monitoring, logging, and performance management.
• DevSecOps, OAuth 2.0, TLS/mTLS, secrets management and vulnerability handling.
• SQL troubleshooting for data and integrations.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drives automation and continuous improvement of software delivery processes.
• Maintains CI/CD services and build environment for developers.
• Leads automated deployment to test and production environments.
• Monitors health of systems and informs staff at all levels.
• Automates repetitive processes and improves development practices.
• Implements back-up and disaster recovery for production environments.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
