Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of hands‑on software development experience building enterprise‑grade applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably AWS (GCP experience valued); Cloud Certification is a plus.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Experience building AI‑enabled applications or integrating Generative AI capabilities into enterprise software.
• Familiarity with API Gateway technologies and service mesh architecture.
• Experience working in regulated industries (Energy, Utilities, Nuclear, Healthcare, Financial Services).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud‑native applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.
• Build secure, reliable, and high‑performance backend services using Node.js, NestJS, Python, and TypeScript.
• Develop responsive front‑end applications using Angular.
• Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Develop and deploy applications on AWS using serverless and container‑based architectures.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UX designers, and cross‑functional engineering teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long‑term solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks using Confluence.
• Ensure applications adhere to cybersecurity, compliance, and software quality standards required for regulated environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI‑assisted development tools, where appropriate.
