Job summary

Alight Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities supporting healthcare applications and services.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Azure and AWS, Terraform, YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, and scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, plus experience with Kubernetes and observability tools.

You will collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience, with hands-on Azure and AWS
• Proficiency with YAML-based pipelines and multi-stage templates
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms (AKS, EKS) or GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux
• Experience with observability tools (Azure Application Insights, CloudWatch, New Relic) and security/compliance requirements
• Certifications such as AZ-104 and AZ-400 are preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and CI enforcement
• Drive security/compliance alignment across DevOps processes (SOC 2, HIPAA)
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and reliability across distributed cloud services
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend release windows
• Maintain engineering standards and review technical designs
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Monitor ETL/data workflows and optimize data pipelines
