Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure with emphasis on Azure and Kubernetes. You will drive infrastructure as code using Terraform and build comprehensive observability using Datadog.

You will work closely with security to ensure compliance and monitor costs while helping optimize cloud spend and performance. Telecommuting is supported across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering with Terraform.
• 3+ years with Azure/AWS/GCP, AKS, virtual networking and container orchestration.
• 3+ years in CI/CD pipeline development and management (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure and Kubernetes.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for scalable deployments.
• Establish observability via Datadog with automated monitors, dashboards, and alerts.
• Collaborate with security teams to meet compliance and optimize cloud costs.
