Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities for healthcare applications. You will work hands-on with Azure, AWS, Terraform, YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

You will drive security alignment (SOC 2, HIPAA), automate deployments, monitor systems, and collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams across distributed services. Occasional weekend releases and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering with hands-on Azure and AWS
• Proficiency with YAML-based pipelines and CI/CD tooling
• Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for governance and pipelines
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with Kubernetes platforms and observability tools

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities for healthcare apps
• Implement IaC with Terraform, including modules and state management
• Ensure SOC 2/HIPAA compliance and security controls across DevOps processes
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and reliability across distributed services
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams for continuous monitoring and evidence gathering
• Handle weekend release windows and on-call rotation
• Maintain engineering standards and perform root-cause analysis for incidents
• Work with cross-functional and offshore teams to meet SLAs
• Optimize data ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows as needed
