Job summary

Alight Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities for healthcare applications. You will work hands-on with Azure, AWS, Terraform, YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

The role requires strong scripting skills and experience with Cosmos DB, Kubernetes, and GitOps tools. You will ensure compliance, security, and reliability across distributed services with weekend releases and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience with Azure and AWS
• Proficiency with YAML-based pipelines and multi-stage templates
• Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI/CD and pipeline governance
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with Cosmos DB, Kubernetes platforms (AKS/EKS), or GitOps tools (Argo CD/ Flux)
• Observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, New Relic, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch
• AZ-104, AZ-400 certifications

Responsibilities

• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including modules, state management, and CI enforcement
• Drive compliance alignment across DevOps processes to meet SOC 2, HIPAA, and related security standards
• Automating deployment, monitoring, and operational reliability across distributed cloud services
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and audit teams to support continuous monitoring and evidence gathering
• Deliver infrastructure and application deployments during weekend release windows and participate in on-call rotations
• Enforce and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and technical design reviews
• Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes
• Monitor, support, and troubleshoot ETL and data integration workflows across environments
