Job summary

The Cypress Group is helping a client in New York City recruit a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale production infrastructure for a cutting-edge data analytics platform.

The role requires 5-7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting in Python or Bash. BSCS is required; an advanced degree is preferred. On-site in NYC four days a week with comprehensive benefits and an equity offering.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience architecting and scaling production infrastructure.
• Proficient with AWS, Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD and scripting in Python or Bash.
• BSCS degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale core production infrastructure services and systems.
• Maintain cloud observability tooling and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate within a startup environment to drive rapid execution.
