Job summary

100KCrossing is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and optimize our core cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will automate provisioning, enhance security, and ensure seamless CI/CD for our applications across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and optimize our core cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. In this role, you will work at the intersection of development and operations—automating infrastructure provisioning, improving system reliability, enhancing security protocols, and ensuring seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Create, optimize, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines to automate build, test, and delivery processes.
• Cloud Architecture & Operations: Manage cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, cost efficiency, and performance.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Observability: Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack to maintain 99.9%+ system uptime.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps practices, managing IAM permissions, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and network security policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability (SRE), or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Cloud Platforms: Deep expertise in managing public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure).
• Infrastructure as Code: Advanced skills with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Containers & Orchestration: Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) architecture and management.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience building automated pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Python, Bash, Go, or Shell scripting for automation and system management.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Architect or DevOps certifications.
• Experience with database administration, scaling, and backups (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of service mesh architectures (Istio, Linkerd) and event-streaming systems like Apache Kafka.
