Job summary

The Cypress Group is helping a client in New York City recruit a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale production infrastructure for a cutting-edge data analytics platform.

The role requires 5-7+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting in Python or Bash. BSCS is required; an advanced degree is preferred. On-site in NYC four days a week with comprehensive benefits and an equity offering.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience architecting and scaling production infrastructure.
• Proficient with AWS, Terraform (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD and scripting in Python or Bash.
• BSCS degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Our client is an AI-powered Data Analytics plaform for the enterprise commerce industry. They are based in New York City, NY and are currently staffing in their Software Engineering Team.

They are currently seeking a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to help build and scale and support their core production product. Qualified candidates will have 5-7+ years of professional hands-on experience architecting, building and scaling production infrastructure services and systems. Applicants must have hands-on experience with AWS, IaC / Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, etc.), Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines, Python or Bash scripting for automation and some form of cloud-based observability tooling. BSCS required, advanced degree preferred.

Ideal candidates will have experience working in a startup environment and be comfortable both making independent, well-informed decisions as well as working in a collaborative, nimble team.
