Job summary

Two95 International Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a contract role in Malvern, PA.

The candidate will manage a multi-datacenter AWS-based Kubernetes setup, develop deployment processes, and document work for teammates. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or Ruby, with strong Linux administration and CI/CD skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 5+ years professional experience.
• Software development experience with an interest in solving distributed systems problems.
• Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Java, Python, Go or Ruby.
• Linux system administration experience (RedHat / CentOS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, git, Concourse or similar).
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Understanding of HTTP, JDBC, Mongo wire protocol, Protocol Buffers, JSON, YAML.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Redis, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of application clustering, load balancing, high availability, reliability concepts.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or ELK Stack.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• On-call escalation participation.
• Commitment to excellent service for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve a multi-datacenter AWS-based Kubernetes installation.
• Build and evolve operational visibility tools and deployment processes.
• Document what you’re building for other team members.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance reliability and performance of our services.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to fellow team members.
• Help maintain Terraform and Ansible repositories.
