Job summary

Two95 International Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a contract role in Malvern, PA.

The candidate will manage a multi-datacenter AWS-based Kubernetes setup, develop deployment processes, and document work for teammates. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or Ruby, with strong Linux administration and CI/CD skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 5+ years professional experience.
• Software development experience with an interest in solving distributed systems problems.
• Experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Java, Python, Go or Ruby.
• Linux system administration experience (RedHat / CentOS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, git, Concourse or similar).
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Understanding of HTTP, JDBC, Mongo wire protocol, Protocol Buffers, JSON, YAML.
• Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Redis, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of application clustering, load balancing, high availability, reliability concepts.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or ELK Stack.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• On-call escalation participation.
• Commitment to excellent service for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining and evolving a multi-datacenter AWS-based Kubernetes installation. Building and evolving operational visibility tools and deployment processes. Documenting what you?re building for other team members. Collaborating with developers to help enhance the reliability and performance of our services. Providing technical guidance and leadership to fellow team members. Helping to maintain our Terraform and Ansible repositories.

Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK Stack. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Some level of participation in an on-call escalation path.
