Job summary

Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to administer and optimize complex IT systems. You will build automation, manage cloud resources, and enforce security and compliance across RHEL servers, containers, and databases.

A strong background in CI/CD, Kubernetes, AWS, and IaC is essential. The role requires execution in a telework-capable environment with limited remote work, located in Annapolis Junction, MD, with opportunities to shape mission-critical infrastructure

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
DOD 8140 compliant intermediate/advanced cert (Security+, CISSP, CCSP, etc.)
Strong PaaS experience
Experience configuring and managing Linux
Experience with CI/CD tools for DevOps pipelines
Kubernetes experience
Strong AWS background
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chef/Salt)

Responsibilities

Perform systems administration on server systems connected to local and wide area networks
Develop infrastructure, automation, and provision managed services using Python, Ansible, Terraform
Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL
Install, configure, and support Kubernetes, Docker, NiFi, and cloud metrics tools
Manage AWS cloud platforms
Administer and secure databases/storage (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka)
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Work with logging/monitoring/observability tools (Kibana, Prometheus)
Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, and metrics for system health
