Job summary

VTG is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to bridge business needs and technical solutions on AWS cloud. The candidate will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) to build scalable infrastructure and microservices.

The role requires experience with ETL concepts, Python scripting, and active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and Jira/Confluence is expected, with multiple seniority levels described.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with data processing concepts and ETL systems is desirable.
• Some proficiency with Python is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile development and ceremonies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and cloud-based software development.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integrator between business needs and technical solutions.
• Work within an Agile lifecycle including sprints and stand-ups.
• Develop micro-services on AWS platform services (Lambdas, ECS, S3, EC2, EKS).
• Ensure software quality through automation testing, CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
