Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer in a hybrid role based in Chelmsford, MA. You will own Linux infrastructure, manage Kubernetes clusters, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable releases.

Candidate should have 5+ years in DevOps or SRE, strong Linux troubleshooting, and Azure/related cloud experience, with a focus on scalable, secure infrastructure and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infra Eng roles.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Production Kubernetes deployment and management experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go; Azure cloud experience.
• Networking fundamentals, DNS, VPNs, TLS, firewalls, load balancers.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases; Git workflows.
• Good documentation and communication skills; bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux infrastructure and systems (approx. 35%).
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and cloud infra (approx. 30%).
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines (approx. 20%).
• Enhance observability with Prometheus, Grafana; participate in performance testing (approx. 15%).
