Job summary

Data Intellect Limited seeks aSenior DevOps Engineer to join on a contract basis in New York. You will build, scale and support cloud infrastructure, focusing on reliability, performance and cost efficiency.

You’ll work with development teams to automate deployments and improve stability across environments. The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, plus strong scripting in Bash/Python and solid Linux administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/infrastructure engineering in production.
• Strong hands-on AWS and Linux administration.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Terraform and Ansible for IaC and automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines; GitLab CI/CD helpful.
• Strong scripting with Bash and/or Python.
• Understanding of cloud networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with NGINX/Apache/Tomcat web services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, improve and extend AWS infrastructure for production apps and services.
• Manage Kubernetes environments and Helm charts upgrades.
• Develop and refine CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Use IaC (Terraform/Ansible) to create repeatable environments.
• Improve monitoring/logging and diagnose production issues.
• Automate infrastructure and operations with Bash/Python.
• Collaborate with software engineers to optimize deployments.
• Design scalable architectures for large customer environments.
• Identify cost, reliability and security improvements.
