Job summary

The Cullerton Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer 3 to design, implement, and operate secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS and EKS. You will lead containerization, CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, and IaC using Terraform, supporting Kubernetes, networking, security, and automation.

Hybrid role, 3 days on-site in Chicago, IL or Irving, TX; 12-month engagement with potential for permanent employment and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on GitHub Actions experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• 3+ years of EKS/Kubernetes experience in production.
• Proficient with Terraform and Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize complex GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD.
• Design, deploy, and manage production EKS/Kubernetes environments.
• Provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Build automation with Python and/or Bash; manage credentials securely.
• Enable GitOps deployment with ArgoCD/Flux and related tools.
