Job summary

CEI in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior DevOps Architect with hands-on GitHub Actions expertise to design and scale CI/CD platforms across enterprise environments. You will build reusable workflows, lead CI/CD migrations, implement Terraform IaC, and work with Kubernetes and Docker to ensure secure, reliable delivery pipelines in a hybrid/remote setup.

Collaborating with engineering teams, you will optimize build/test workflows and contribute to platform engineering initiatives in a W2 direct-hire

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience.
• Hands-on GitHub Actions – built workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms across teams.
• Proficiency in Terraform and IaC.
• Strong AWS and/or Azure knowledge.
• Kubernetes and Docker experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Develop reusable workflows and composite Actions.
• Support and scale DevOps environments used by multiple teams.
• Improve build, test, and deployment workflows with engineers.
• Lead or contribute to GitHub Enterprise migrations or CI/CD transitions.
• Implement infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Ensure security, reliability, and scalability across pipelines.
