Job summary

Vannevar Labs is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own build and deployment automation for our platform. You will drive scalable, secure, and observable systems, balancing speed with reliability while collaborating across teams.

You will implement a robust DevOps pipeline and expand a multi-account AWS environment, building self-service tools and monitoring to support hundreds to thousands of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or software engineering.
• Experience crafting CI/CD processes and automation.
• AWS cloud technology expertise.
• Experience with PLG stack, Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform and Pulumi.
• Proficient with Docker and containerization.
• Strong scripting: Python, Bash, or similar.
• Agile/Scrum experience; ability to work independently.
• U.S. Citizenship required; TS/SCI with FSP clearance and DC travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and scale platform health and roadmap.
• Create self-service tools to boost data engineering efficiency.
• Build logging/monitoring to visualize platform state and improve SRE.
• Contribute to a secure, high-availability DevOps pipeline.
• Expand multi-account AWS environment.
• Automate build and deployment processes.
