Job summary

Vannevar Labs is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to own and scale our platform, automate CI/CD, and maintain high availability in a multi-account AWS environment. The role requires US citizenship and TS/SCI with FSP clearance, with up to 50% travel to DC customer sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud tech, including GovCloud.
• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Pulumi for IaC.
• Proficient in Python, Bash or other scripting languages.
• Experience in agile Scrum and independent work.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and ensure platform health, scalability, and planning.
• Build self-service tools to boost data engineering efficiency.
• Create logging/monitoring to visualize platform state and improve SRE practices.
• Contribute to a secure, robust DevOps pipeline with high availability.
• Grow multi-account AWS environment and automate build/deploy processes.
• Support CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions and related tooling.
