Job summary

PayZen is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to shape our AI-driven infrastructure strategy. You’ll drive CI/CD, configuration management, and monitoring across AWS, GCP, and on-prem environments from our San Francisco HQ with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, data and security teams to build scalable, reliable systems and participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong experience managing AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with Terraform provisioning and environment provisioning.
• Hands-on with monitoring/observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Scripting in Bash and Python; Linux systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure with Kubernetes and Docker across public cloud (AWS, GCP).
• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for consistent provisioning.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated releases.
• Administer Linux servers and networking basics.
• Set up observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and New Relic.
• Automate repetitive tasks with Bash and Python.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and security teams on requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations for reliability.
