Job summary

Centric Software is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to partner with development teams to build, deploy, and operate scalable applications across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will drive automation, production readiness, and DevOps best practices with AI-assisted tooling in a fast‑growing company.

The role requires hands‑on DevOps experience, strong scripting skills, and expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and multi‑cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher and Helm.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic or similar observability tools.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with development teams to onboard applications and implement DevOps standards.
• Guide production readiness, including HA, scaling, monitoring, and security.
• Automate infrastructure, installation, upgrades, backup, and procedures using Bash, Python, Terraform, Helm and APIs.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Architect and support deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic.
• Troubleshoot microservices and distributed systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, SQL/NoSQL).
• Leverage AI-assisted development/DevOps tools to improve productivity.
