Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to provide follow-the-sun coverage for the ADAS line, ensuring platform stability and 24/7 SLA adherence during West Coast business hours.

You will work with Japan-based teams to maintain uptime across multi-tenant environments and partner with platform teams to achieve high reliability. A strong automation mindset and incident ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or related role.
• 5+ years with AWS.
• 5+ years deploying, scaling Kubernetes.
• 5+ years with Terraform for IaC.
• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, or ELK.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and follow-the-sun support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SEV-1/SEV-2 coverage during PST/PDT hours and meet 2-hour initial response target.
• Deploy, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support deployments across multiple environments.
• Monitor and support AWS and Kubernetes workloads to meet uptime targets.
• Track app and infra performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and related tools.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify manual processes and automate to improve efficiency.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and IaC standards.
