Job summary

HireArt is helping our client find a Senior DevOps Engineer to cover follow-the-sun support for the ADAS line, ensuring platform stability and rapid incident response during West Coast business hours.

The role extends to Japan off-hours for 24/7 SLA adherence across a multi-tenant system, partnering with JP teams and platform teams to maintain uptime and reliability with an automation-first mindset.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
5+ years of DevOps/SRE hands-on experience.
5+ years of AWS experience.
5+ years deploying and managing Kubernetes environments.
5+ years using Terraform for IaC.
5+ years building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
Experience with Docker and containerized apps.
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK).
Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and follow-the-sun support.

Responsibilities

Provide SEV-1/SEV-2 incident coverage during PST/PDT hours for 24/7 SLA adherence.
Deploy, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across environments (dev, stage, prod).
Monitor AWS and Kubernetes workloads to meet uptime targets.
Track performance with Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, and observability tools.
Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Identify manual processes and drive automation to reduce deployment times.
Integrate security into CI/CD and IaC practices.
Develop runbooks and publish best practices across global teams.
