Frame is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure behind FrameOS in our Los Angeles office. You will build and maintain systems that keep Frame fast, reliable, and secure, collaborating with engineering to raise deployment, observability, and incident response standards.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, strong AWS experience, and proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK, plus experience with CI/CD, security-first mindset, and scale of Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Own FrameOS infrastructure across AWS, including provisioning, scaling, and cost management.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for fast, predictable deployments.

• Maintain Frame's security posture: access controls, secrets, network segmentation, audit trails.
• Operate database infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Redis, replication, failover.

Specifics About The Role:

We are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure that runs FrameOS. You will build and maintain the systems that keep Frame fast, reliable, and secure, working closely with engineering to raise the bar on deployment, observability, and incident response. Payment infrastructure has no room for surprises. Neither do we.

What You'll Do:

• Own cloud infrastructure across AWS, including provisioning, scaling, and cost management
• Build CI/CD pipelines that make deployment fast, predictable, and safe
• Own the observability stack including logging, tracing, alerting, and the on-call workflows that respond to it
• Manage Frame's security posture including access controls, secrets management, network segmentation, and audit trails
• Run database infrastructure including PostgreSQL, Redis, and the replication and failover strategies behind them
• Operate Kubernetes or equivalent container orchestration at scale

What We Require:

• 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience, including VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, and related services
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CDK
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines at production scale
• A security-first mindset. You think about access, secrets, and attack surface before someone else asks
• Low tolerance for fragile systems. You fix the root cause, not the symptom

You’ll Be Successful If:

• You have experience in fintech, payments, or a regulated infrastructure environment
• You have PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or similar compliance framework experience
• You have strong scripting in Python, Go, or Bash
• You have experience supporting engineering teams building high-reliability, low-latency financial systems
• You are someone who treats reliability as a feature, not a backstop
• You build infrastructure that other engineers can rely on without thinking about it, and fix root causes rather than patching symptoms
• You move quickly when systems are on fire and methodically when they aren't
