Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a Sr DevOps Engineer to lead enterprise EKS architecture and migration initiatives from legacy clusters to a scalable, multi-tenant platform. This fully remote role emphasizes security, automation, and cost optimization across AWS infrastructures.

Qualifications

• Proven mastery in multi-tenant, enterprise-scale EKS environments.
• Expert understanding of AWS VPC topologies and CNIs (VPC CNI, Cilium, Calico).
• Authoritative knowledge of IAM integration with Kubernetes (IRSA) and KMS encryption.
• Experience designing enterprise ingress and service mesh architectures.
• Advanced Terraform and modular IaC governance for EKS fleets.

Responsibilities

• Lead Enterprise EKS Audit across 20+ clusters to assess workload distribution and security posture.
• Architect a consolidation roadmap to migrate workloads to a multi-tenant EKS platform.
• Define CNI & service mesh strategy and select matching implementations.
• Design Golden Cluster and automate deployment of EKS control plane and core add-ons.
• Develop advanced traffic patterns with AWS Load Balancer Controller and secure ingress.
• Define cluster lifecycle, upgrade, VM/AMI lifecycle, and DR capabilities using Velero and S3.
• Architect CI/CD infrastructure on EKS using GitHub Actions Runner Controller.
