Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking an AWS Cloud Migration Architect to lead migration projects from on‑premise datacenters to AWS, within our Platform Engineering team. You will drive workload analysis, planning, and execution to enable scalable cloud capabilities for Fortune 1000 clients.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in cloud migrations, strong AWS architecture knowledge, and familiarity with VMware ecosystems and migration tools. This is a remote role serving Canada and the USA.

Qualifications

Experience in migrating workloads from on-premise datacenters to AWS EC2 instances.
Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, auto-scaling, Landing Zone, and Control Tower.
Familiarity with VMware vSphere/vCenter and vMotion integration with AWS.
Experience with migration tools: CloudEndure, AWS Migration Hub, MGN, SMS, DMS.
Understanding of SOA and cloud-based web services architectures.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of advanced cloud migration solutions within Platform Engineering.
Plan and execute workload migrations from on-premises to AWS with minimal downtime.
Collaborate with security, data, and analytics teams to ensure compliant, scalable cloud architectures.
