Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a highly qualified engineer for the Ultra-Low-Power CMOS modeling team based in Bangalore. The role focuses on developing compact SPICE models for FDSOI, FinFET, and Bulk MOSFETs used in RF/MMW applications and PDk offerings for customers in diverse digital/analog and RF domains.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD or Master in Electrical Engineering with strong device physics knowledge, MOSFET expertise, and experience with model extraction tools.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 12+ years of experience.
• Strong semiconductor device physics knowledge, MOSFETs, and familiarity with BSIM models.
• Experience with test structures for compact model extraction and model extraction tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPICE model development for FDSOI, FinFET and Bulk technologies for RF/MMW applications.
• Analyze and represent semiconductor devices with industry standard models.
• Collaborate across sites with RF/MMW modeling teams and support critical customer engagements.
• Prepare reports with technical recommendations and ensure safe, compliant operations.
