Job summary

City of Santa Monica seeks a Senior Development Analyst to plan, organize, implement and manage complex projects in real estate leasing, economic development and affordable housing. You will coordinate budgets, financing plans and contractor activity to advance city goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four years of recent, paid, professional work experience in affordable housing, economic development, real estate, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, monitor and manage projects related to real estate, economic development or affordable housing.
• Develop budgets, financing plans and project proposals, and coordinate with consultants and developers.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs; negotiate and monitor agreements.
• Analyze feasibility and coordinate appraisals, market studies and valuations to support decisions.
• Lead interdepartmental task forces and present reports to City bodies and community groups.
