QTS Data Centers seeks a Senior Development Project Engineer to support design, preconstruction, and construction activities across projects. You will collaborate daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to advance campus development and capital budgets.

The role requires strong written and oral communication, extensive project coordination, and experience in data center environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• US Citizenship is required due to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Development leadership and Project Manager with day-to-day activities and responsibilities.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for multiple campus projects.
• Provide monthly development program and project status updates for executive reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to develop the master development program and capital budget.
• Assist with entitlement and permitting needs for assigned sites.
• Contribute to design, construction, commissioning scopes and procurement efforts.
• Review pricing proposals and coordinate with procurement teams.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules; ensure on-time completion.
• Coordinate submittals with site stakeholders and contractors.
