Job summary

The Shalom Hartman Institute is seeking a Development Operations Senior Coordinator to support institutional giving through donor/grant records, grant workflows, budget tracking, and cross-department collaboration.

Based in NY with four days in-office, you’ll work with Development, Finance, and Program teams to optimize proposal development, reporting, stewardship, and strategic planning, focusing on institutional giving.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of nonprofit fundraising, development operations, grants management, or related experience.
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred) or similar CRM.
• Experience with project management platforms (Monday.com, Asana, or similar).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate donor records, grant information, and fundraising activity in Salesforce.
• Oversee grant tracking, proposals, reports, and stewardship deadlines.
• Generate fundraising dashboards and reports to support strategy.
• Coordinate foundation portfolio management and prospect research.
