Job summary

GBH, based in Springfield, MA, is seeking a Senior Development Officer to join the NEPM development team. You will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, drive annual fund, major gifts, bequests, and grants, and help grow the Murrow Society giving program.

In this hybrid, staff-onsite role, you will coordinate with the Senior Development Manager and Development Assistant, prepare proposals and reports, and use our CRM to track activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 4–6 years of relevant fundraising/major gifts experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~150 prospects and donors with cultivation and stewardship plans.
• Qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward individuals through meetings, events, and communications.
• Collaborate with Senior Development Manager and Development Assistant on donor engagement strategies.
• Prepare proposals, briefings and reports; meet regularly with donors.
• Record and track all donor activity using NEPM’s CRM.
