Job summary

GBH's New England Public Media (NEPM) team in Springfield seeks a Senior Development Manager who will lead NEPM's development strategy and donor engagement across Western Massachusetts, managing about $2 million in annual philanthropic revenue. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years of fundraising experience with annual fund or major gifts focus.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEPM's annual fund and major gifts strategy, setting priorities and revenue projections to achieve approximately $2 million.
• Develop and oversee the Murrow Society patron program with events, communications, and donor recognition to grow unrestricted revenue.
• Collaborate with GBH Development and NEPM leadership; advise the NEPM President and Major Donors portfolio.
• Supervise and develop two NEPM-based fundraising professionals; ensure team goals are met.
• Support board interactions and coordinate with GBH departments to maximize fundraising opportunities.
