Job summary

GBH's New England Public Media (NEPM) in Springfield, MA seeks a Senior Development Manager to lead NEPM's annual fund and major gifts strategy, overseeing about $2 million in philanthropic revenue and the Murrow Society.

You will supervise a two-person NEPM fundraising team, cultivate donor relationships, and collaborate with GBH's senior leadership, while engaging with major donors and supporters across Western Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 6 years fundraising experience.
• Experience in annual fund management or major gifts; supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of public media; ability to work with executives and boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead NEPM’s annual fund and major gifts strategy to achieve ~$2M in support.
• Develop and oversee the Murrow Society patron program with events and communications.
• Collaborate with NEPM President on donor portfolio and advisor relations.
• Supervise and coach two NEPM fundraising professionals.
• Serve as a liaison to the NEPM Board of Advisors and support meetings.
• Collaborate with GBH Development, Membership, Marketing, and Leadership.
• Represent GBH and NEPM across Western Massachusetts.
