Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and volunteer management across the Southern California & Hawaii territory. The role oversees the Inland Empire market, supports corporate development, and leads the Orange County Gala.

Hybrid work schedule available: in-office, remote, and field activities. The position requires 5–7 years of fundraising experience with revenue responsibilities >$750k and a college degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of fundraising experience with revenue responsibilities over $750k
• Experience leading staff teams in large-scale events (walks, galas, etc.)
• Proven ability to develop and maintain a network of donors and volunteers in the local area
• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and engagement plans to grow chapter performance year over year
• Achieve personal and event-level revenue goals and support chapter goals
• Recruit, cultivate, and manage volunteer leaders and event committees
• Oversee corporate development and mid-level giving within the chapter
• Lead the Inland Empire Market and develop fundraising events in the next fiscal year
