Job summary

Breakthrough T1D is seeking a Development Director to lead fundraising initiatives across Southern California and Hawaii, including the Orange County Gala. You will build donor and volunteer pipelines, cultivate major gifts, and partner with national programs to drive chapter revenue and engagement.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of fundraising leadership in a mission-driven organization with revenue responsibilities over $750k.
• Experience leading large-scale events (walks, galas) and managing staff.
• Ability to travel locally and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Orange County Gala and develop the chapter's fundraising events strategy.
• Grow donor and volunteer pipelines across the assigned portfolio.
• Develop stewardship strategies and engage corporate and individual donors.
• Supervise direct reports and collaborate with national program partners to hit revenue targets.
