Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Development Clinical Research Physician to lead late-stage clinical development, medical monitoring, and data dissemination for global trials. The role requires psychiatrists with board eligibility/certification and proven industry development experience.

Responsibilities include protocol review, risk management, investigator engagement, and regulatory submissions, in a hybrid work setting with a focus on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; written and verbal communications.
• US trained physicians must have board eligible or certified.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical development experience in industry (or 5 years in academia).

Responsibilities

• Clinical Planning and oversight of ongoing clinical trial monitoring; ensure patient safety per policies.
• Collaborate with regions, Discovery, Program Phase Medicine, and Clinical Pharmacology on launch labels and value propositions.
• Review and approve protocols, informed consent documents, and final study reports within project timelines.
• Provide oversight for ICDs and support local clinical trial design, conduct, and reporting.
• Assess risk profiles and communicate risks to study subjects; identify and qualify investigators.
• Support regulatory submissions, including NDAs and periodic adverse experience reports; interact with regulatory bodies.
