Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Clinical Research Physician to advance early clinical development, including clinical pharmacology, for assets in cardiometabolic, immunology, or neurological areas. The CRP will progress assets into first‑in‑human studies and support mechanistic studies in a global trial setting.

The role requires medical licensure, board eligibility/certification, and experience in Phase 1/2 design and execution, with strong communication and regulatory knowledge. Travel ~10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
• Must be board eligible or certified in appropriate specialty/subspecialty.
• U.S. trained physicians must have board eligibility or certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee clinical pharmacology studies (ascending dose, bioavailability, DDI, biomarkers).
• Collaborate with PK/PD, statistics, and other teams for study development.
• Ensure compliance with GCP and local regulations.
