Job summary

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Education Engineer to shape and grow the developer education platform. You will design exercise-first courses, labs, and hands-on content with video and AI-assisted learning, while ensuring alignment with current product capabilities across SDK languages like Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, and .NET.

You will build reference implementations, run workshops, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale education assets for developers and enterprise

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with real working examples.
• Experience creating high-quality technical education content.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical audiences.
• Senior individual contributor with ownership and initiative.
• Experience in at least one of Temporal SDK languages (Go/Java/TypeScript/Python/.NET).
• Ability to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Shape the education platform and learning experience beyond content.
• Design exercise-first courses, tutorials, and labs with hands-on examples.
• Produce video education content, including walkthroughs and clips.
• Build AI and agent content showing reliable AI systems.
• Design learning experiences reflecting modern developer workflows.
• Keep materials aligned with product capabilities and patterns.
• Build reference implementations, labs, and best-practice examples.
• Represent education in person at conferences or trainings as needed.
• Partner with enterprise teams to scale enablement assets.
• Support trainer and developer certification programs and gather feedback.
