Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Developer (Assembler) with experience in Life Insurance to support our mainframe systems. Your focus will be on developing, testing, and debugging programs related to our life insurance products, particularly supporting the legacy system Life Comm.

Main Duties:

• Assist in designing, programming, configuring, and integrating solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Support the existing Life Comm system, which manages the entire Life Insurance cycle.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of digital information.
• Prepare development work for automated testing.
• Perform tests throughout development to avoid service interruptions.
• Measure the quality of solutions (performance, robustness, etc.).
• Implement or support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Other Tasks:

• Participate in design discussions and promote best practices.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and users to validate needs.
• Support and maintain software solutions in production.
• Contribute to documentation and promote best practices.
• Handle complex tasks and set standards in your technical area.

Requirements:

• At least ten years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Life Comm or similar Life Insurance packages (Life70, CFO, ISCM, ALIS).
• Development skills in Assembler, VSAM, Batch JCL (VSE).
• Experience with unit testing and TDD.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
• Team player with adaptability and eagerness to learn.
