Danta Technologies in Austin, TX is hiring a Desktop Support Technician (DSS) to provide deskside and remote support for Windows and Apple devices. You will image, deploy, troubleshoot, and onboard new hires while ensuring policy and security compliance.

Expect rotation coverage including nights and weekends, with a compensation package for W2 employees. Requirements include 5–7 years in desktop support, Office 365 expertise, Windows/macOS proficiency, and device imaging experience using

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of IT experience in desktop support.
• Hands-on Office 365 troubleshooting & admin.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Experience imaging and deploying devices using Autopilot/Intune.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Wireless.

Responsabilités

• Provide deskside and remote support for Windows and Apple laptops/desktops.
• Troubleshoot Google Workspace issues (Gmail, chat).
• Image, deploy, and troubleshoot post-deployment devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot end-user devices.
• Support mobile device setup/troubleshooting (iOS/Android).
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software conflicts.
• Manage tickets in ITSM (ServiceNow): classify, assign, track, close.
• Onboard new hires (accounts, devices, access).
• Ensure hardware records in asset management system.
• Tag assets, track inventory, report inflows/outflows weekly.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs/replacements.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, SLAs.
• Participate in rotational on-call support (nights/weekends).
