Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Desktop Engineer to support enterprise endpoint management, application deployment, and advanced desktop engineering initiatives. This role acts as a Tier 3 escalation resource, leveraging Microsoft Intune, PowerShell, and packaging expertise to enhance the end-user computing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with application packaging and deployment.
• Proven Tier 3 troubleshooting experience in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS and endpoint technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms and modern device management solutions.
• Experience implementing security policies and compliance standards.
• Microsoft endpoint management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune.
• Package, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system administration.
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex desktop, application, and endpoint issues.
• Support device lifecycle management, patching, and desktop engineering projects.
• Partner with Infrastructure and Security teams to maintain endpoint standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
