Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Specialist, Digital Workplace Services to lead desktop engineering and deliver secure, scalable endpoint solutions. You will architect, deploy, and support SCCM/MECM, Intune, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 across the enterprise, partnering with IT and business teams to align technology with business needs.

The role requires deep experience with endpoint security, PowerShell automation, and modern workplace platforms such as Entra

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in desktop/endpoint/digital workplace engineering.
• Expert in SCCM/MECM, Group Policy, OS deployment and patching.
• Strong experience with Intune, Entra ID, 365, WorkSpaces and compliance.
• Advanced Windows endpoint configuration, AD, networking, and security.
• Proficient in PowerShell or similar automation languages.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for desktop engineering direction and roadmaps.
• Architect and support enterprise endpoint solutions (SCCM/MECM, Intune, GP, 365, Entra ID, WorkSpaces).
• Lead packaging, deployment, imaging, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Design secure endpoint configurations and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Monitor and resolve issues affecting WorkSpaces and related services.
• Develop automation, runbooks, and documentation using PowerShell and Graph.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and growth.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Lead workplace technology upgrades, migrations, deployments within scope and budget.
• Evaluate emerging tech to improve security and employee experience.
