Job summary

Huxley seeks a Senior Desktop Engineer in Boston, MA to evolve the employee technology experience across a global environment. You will focus on endpoint engineering, modern workspace solutions, automation, and device management, in a hybrid setting with 1 day in the office per week.

You will manage Windows endpoints, Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 workloads, build desktop images, deploy applications, automate tasks with PowerShell and Python, and collaborate with technical teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Desktop/Endpoint engineering.
• Strong Windows endpoint management in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience with virtual desktop technologies or DaaS.
• Advanced scripting with PowerShell; Python a plus.
• Azure and/or AWS experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication.

We're partnering with a highly respected organization seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer to help evolve and enhance the employee technology experience across a global environment. This role focuses on endpoint engineering, virtual workspace technologies, automation, and modern device management, supporting a fast-paced business that values innovation and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Administer and enhance enterprise endpoint platforms supporting both physical and virtual workstations.
• Design and maintain modern digital workspace solutions across cloud-hosted and virtualized desktop environments.
• Automate repetitive operational processes using scripting and workflow tools such as PowerShell, Python, and low-code automation platforms.
• Support identity, access, and endpoint management technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Engineering, Workplace Technology, or a related infrastructure role.
• Strong experience managing Windows endpoints in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience supporting virtual desktop technologies, DaaS platforms, or remote workspace solutions.
• Advanced scripting and automation experience using PowerShell; Python experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience improving operational processes through automation and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across endpoint infrastructure, productivity applications, and virtual workspaces.
• Polished communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from technical teams to executive leadership

Additional Information

• Hybrid schedule (1 day onsite/week)
• Compensation… $140k - $150k + benefits + bonus
